Almond Oatmeal Granola

Almonds are rich in the vitamins and minerals that help build a healthy heart, especially vitamin E. And these little nutrient nuggets are cholesterol free. Almond Oatmeal Granola  3

Ingredients:
* 5 cups uncooked old-fashioned oatmeal
* 1 cup steel-cut oats
* 1 cup slivered almonds
* 1 cup sweetened coconut
* 1-6 ounce package dried tart cherries
* 1/2 cup almond oil
* 1/3 cup honey
* 3/4 tsp cinnamon

How to Prepare :

Preheat oven to 300F. In a large bowl, stir together almond oil, honey and cinnamon; add to oat mixture and stir well.

Spread granola in a greased baking pan and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 10 minutes.

Cool and store in an airtight container. Serve with yogurt, fresh fruit or milk. Serves 16.
